Investiture Ceremony
On February 7, 2024, Modern School buzzed with anticipation as students from Grades 5 to 11 gathered to participate in the democratic process of electing their peers to various leadership positions. This event not only showcased the school’s commitment to fostering student leadership but also provided an opportunity for students to actively engage in shaping the future of their school community.
The venue was abuzz with activity as students cast their votes for candidates vying for positions such as Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl, and Sports Captain. Through a transparent and democratic process, candidates were elected based on the number of votes garnered, ensuring that student voices were heard and valued.
Additionally, a panel of teachers played a crucial role in selecting candidates for key leadership roles by posing questions that assessed their suitability and vision for the school. This rigorous selection process ensured that candidates for positions like Head Boy and Head Girl possessed not only leadership potential but also a deep sense of responsibility and integrity.
Beyond the top leadership roles, students also had the opportunity to vie for positions such as House Captain, Deputy House Captain, and Sports Captain of the school’s four houses, further fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
