Joining Modern School.

Choosing a school is a feeling as much as a decision. The best way to make it is to visit, walk the corridors, and see how the children are with each other. We would love to host you.

When a child joins Modern, the whole family joins a community that will know them for years. So our admissions process is built around getting to know you — not around testing a four-year-old. It is warm, unhurried, and honest.

Most families understand Modern best once they walk through it. We think you will too.

Enquire
Call the admissions office or fill in the enquiry form. Tell us a little about your child and the grade you are looking at.

Visit the campus
See the school in session — classrooms, the library, the banyan. Meet teachers and ask anything.

An informal interaction
A relaxed conversation with you and your child. For the early years there is no test; we are simply getting to know each other.

Offer of place
If it is a good fit on both sides, we confirm a place and share the current fee schedule in full.

Join the community
Complete enrolment, and your child becomes a Modernite. We will help with the first-day settling in.
Who can apply

Entry points & age.

Nursery is our main entry point, taking children into the IB Primary Years Programme. We also admit into higher grades through the year, subject to available seats.

Nursery & early years — the primary intake, where most children begin.
Grades 1 to 8 — lateral entry as seats open during the year.
Grades 9 & 11 — entry into ICSE and ISC, subject to eligibility.
Age criteria are set by the academic year of entry. Please confirm the exact cut-off for your child’s grade with the admissions office.

Fees and scholarships.

Fees vary by grade and are reviewed each academic year. The full, itemised fee schedule — including one-time and recurring components — is shared at the enquiry stage.
