Developing an understanding for SHAPES by Grade I
Shapes are all around us.
Some are big, some are small,
Some can roll, some can slide.
Some are found by your side,
Some are found all around.
Learners understanding about shapes was exceptionally amazing.
They were given a chance to project their understanding by making ‘Anchor chart’ of shapes which shows their attributes.
Their understanding became clearer after this activity as they were not bounded to basic shapes.
They explored other shapes too like pentagon, hexagon, trapezoid etc.
The outcome was as good as expected.
