Inter House Chess Competition
VMWC organised a PYP inter house chess tournament to provide a platform for students to improve on logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem solving. 29 participants from various houses participated in this event held on 30th August 2018 is the school auditorium.
This initiative was taken by the sports teacher of VMWC under the support and guidance of the Principal.
It was heart warming to see the PYP children playing their moves like stalwarts with rapt concentration and collected demeanour .
The winner of the chess competition was Jahan,the second place was taken by Shahan followed by third place by Vansh and Sai kamal.
It was a great experience for the team and students got a good opportunity to display their skills. It has assured us that chess is a game wherein children learn to be responsible for their actions
