Modern School hosted its annual interschool event, Code Hackathon 2026, on 16 and 17 July 2026, bringing together students from schools across Lucknow for two days of competition in technology and innovation.

The hackathon comprised Quizento, Fun with Code, Spark Design (Poster & Logo), Glitch Hunt (Junior and Senior), Code Race, Robo Race, Robo Rumble, AppXcelerate, and WebX (Junior and Senior) — each testing a different aspect of computational thinking, coding, robotics, web development, and digital design.

Events were judged by academicians and industry professionals. On Day 1, Mr Kaartikeya Pandey (Knocksense), Dr Mohd. Usman Khan and Mr Anas Habib Zuberi (Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Integral University), and Mr Akash Verma (The Social Explorer) adjudicated Spark Design and Fun with Code. On Day 2, Mr Kamal Sharma (KAE Education), Mr Aditya Mishra (Union + Webster), and Mr Yash Virmani (Kellton, Gurugram) evaluated WebX and AppXcelerate.

Results

On cumulative points across all competitions:

  • First place: Modern Academy
  • Second place: Modern School
  • Third place (joint): CMS Aliganj-I (Cambridge) and Seth M.R. Jaipuria School

The event closed with a prize distribution ceremony. Code Hackathon 2026 continues the school’s commitment to computational thinking and giving young learners a real platform to build, test, and present their work.
